Dragon Cup 2017
Breakthrough year, when the Martial Arts Tournament became a festival where the the main part was the Open World Martial Arts Championship attended by 220 contestants from 10 countries (Europe, Asia, America). They competed in various disciplines (forms, fights, solving self-defense situations and endurance in the iron horse stance).
Accompanying program included: Workout competition – WObattle2017, where 50 contestants from the Czech and Slovak community competed in the weighted, freestyle and muscle-ups disciplines, Military program – Shooting Attractions, Demonstrations of Army and Police (Static and Dynamic), Exhibition fights.
More than 2.5 thousand visitors visited the event.
Dragon Cup 2016
Dragon Cup 2016 was specific because it was still held in the hometown of this event – in Karvina, where friendly martial arts clubs met in a friendly atmosphere, both in contact and non-contact disciplines. A total of 160 contestants from the Czech Republic and Poland participated. The event was enriched by the performance of the Czech Army and great dancers.
During this Dragon Cup, we first created our own disciplines – Iron Horse Stance and Dragon Fight / Combat (Chinese Boxing Rules).
We managed to get styles: Kung Fu, Shaolin, Wushu, Karate, MMA, Jiu-Jitsu, Taekwondo.
Dragon Cup 2015
After a ten-year break, we decided to start organizing the Dragon Cup again in Karvina – a small tournament between friendly martial art clubs.
The event was attended by 80 competitors from the Czech Republic and Poland with a total of 210 starts.
Competitors competed only in non-contact disciplines – Forms (weapons, soft, hard and synchron) and DUO combat (solving self-defense situations in pairs).
The competition was accompanied by an action performance of the Czech Army.
